i really enjoyed Cena's reigns of terror, but i'm a weirdo who started with Vengeance '03 so i was a blank slate and he was the first dude i saw shoot up to megastar

I don’t think I was really exposed to Cena until 2006 probably? Like I knew who he was obviously, but didn’t have cable so just watched Smackdown in 2005 into 2006. Mania 23 was the first PPV I ever watched live

 

Cena’s work in the 2010s did wonders for his reputation because the revisionist history behind his work before the Punk feud is certainly something lol
