I do a lot of annoying shit, I own that, I deserve it sometimes when Matt / Dustin / whoever call me out, they have legitimate pet peeves with me despite being good friends

this is my like, ONE pet peeve with Matt lol. I apologize for going on so long, it's just that it keeps coming up and I wish I could find some way to communicate to him like, "hey your research is awesome and valid and makes really interesting points but its not 'objective' like science is objective, you can't just talk down other people's opinions because you've found more stats than them." That's not how math actually works.

It is also easy to not keep engaging, especially if both parties are gonna be stubborn. From an outsider standpoint it kinda sucks when the thread gets hijacked like that imo

 

If I remember correctly - I followed Property of Zack on tumblr, would maybe check AP for album reviews every now and then but never ventured into the forums at all. I listened to some podcasts that Zack did which led me to the podcast that Phaynes' good personal friend Thomas Nassiff did with Jason Tate, so I would check the main chorus page for music news but don't think I looked at the forums here until I got my current mostly-at-a-desk job 2 summers ago

I don't remember specifically what led me to forums other than just downtime at work, because I started my job in June and made my account here in August I think
