TOYPAJ and Untitled are still king for me. I just don't think they can top them, and that's okay. Every band has a prime, but this is definitely above Dude Ranch, and maybe competing with Enema for me.

 

I think this is going to surpass So Much (for) Stardust by the end of the week

 

This line is so funny to me:

“Dance With Me” channels Machine Gun Kelly’s unrelenting onslaught of guitars and nasal screeching.

Ah, yes, the pop punk band going on 30 years is channeling a decade-long rapper who decided to release a pop punk album out of nowhere (that...channeled Blink-182).

I can’t think of one song on that album that sounds as good or even close to DANCE WITH ME lmao wut

 

I've been trying to limit myself to 1 listen a day to avoid burnout, but feel the itch immediately after Childhood ends.

It's also crazy how fast this album moves along considering it's 17 tracks. It really flies by.

Also, I've been debating on whether or not Terrified was a 2018 or not. That guitar tone and overall urgency in the song makes me think it was definitely an idea in 2002.

 

I’m very confused by the 2018 comment from Aaron.

 

Based on that comment and some of the discussion in the Zane Lowe interview I'm thinking Travis & Tom were hanging out a little bit and worked on that one song before Tom fully reconciled with Mark.

 

Oh, 100%. When Travis was making his Netflix documentary (where is that by the way..?), he got with Tom and they had mentioned they were going to release a new BCR song. I think Tom tweeted about it.

 

excited that there is a guarantee that i will enjoy at least one trip to Citi Field in 2024

 

I think I stand by my pre-release-way-too-soon ranking.

the fun part about this band is you can usually see based on rankings where everyones entry point to the band was. For me, it was being aware of enema, getting toypaj on release date, and then fully invested with urethra chronicles, the recording of untitled, etc.

Nosebleed seats are 28 bucks for Citi Field. Anything decent is over 200.

Bought 4 nosebleeds, I'll worry about possibly upgrading in 8 months

$155 total for (2) upper deck seats, making me feel like its 2017 again

 

$343 for a pit ticket at Citi field. No thanks but am very bummed to miss them again

 

i just got 2 in Sec 517 for $68 each before fees, im fine with it. saw foo fighters here in around this same area and its not terrible.
