idk it’s the front office’s job to evaluate talent and a coach’s job to execute with the players on the roster. The GM should hire a coach who shares a similar team-building vision and should take coach input, but you don’t hire an entire scouting department to override their opinion just because the coach has a differing opinion

I mainly wonder how the FO could have landed on the Reich hire or how Reich landed on his offensive staff hires if they didn’t all share mutual excitement for how to maximize the same prospect. I know they didn’t have 1 yet but I can’t imagine the push to trade up didn’t come up in those convos

 

yeah man I think your record setting, fastest team in the league offense putting up 245 yards against the eagles back 7 is A Clunker, but mostly agree with your last point there

 

I did actually go back and look at the jags divisonal record the last few years (aside from 2020 and 2021) and expected worse so, sorry for the exaggeration lol
