Rise was fine, offspring was so good. They played all the old hits so the crowd was into it.

 

Did anyone else feel that the audio on ghost and stripe stages just generally sounded shitty? Pink and green stages were bright and clear but those smaller stages were pretty bunk imo.

 

Man, Green Day used to be so good about playing older songs and deep cuts. At least they were on the 21CB tour. Hope they at least try to do that again this summer. Their setlist last night is decent, at least

Sounds like the latter isn't true, but according to Reddit he's friends with whoever she was dating and upset at the breakup situation I guess, either way, bad look

 

Their stages are also too close to each other. Unless you’re directly in front of one of the stages, the bleed over was awful. And if there was a quiet part, like between songs, you heard the other small stage AND the main stage. So that was annoying. But yeah, during Michelle Branch, even directly in the middle of her stage, you could hear No Pressure almost the entire time.

 

It must have been Tyga, but apparently they ended things amicably. Weird.

 

I don't know why I got so deep into something I don't care about haha, but I guess he's close with mod sun and obviously tyga so that whole thing probably felt messy

 

Why would you expect a bunch of deep cuts at a festival lol come on

this sites obsession with blink and disdain for Green Day will never not be funny

 

Had a great time yesterday. Goldfinger and Blink were the highlights. Especially Tony Hawk singing Superman

Soco was solid definitely too short, NFG was as good as always although I can’t believe they still played let it go. TJ had basically no one watching them, Citizen good, turnover holy shit so boring, Mxpx, rise against, good Charlotte and the offspring were all great. 30 seconds to Mars…was something

And yeah I mean Green Day sounded great and I enjoyed their set but wish they would have switched it up a little. Definitely thought they were doing AI in full lol 100% don’t have to watch them again today was pretty exhausted by then too.

Blink definitely stole the show imo, sounded great, banter was great, the new songs were so good live and then closing with one more time really got me. I don’t have it in me to camp out for a couple hours to be close to them again today (30 seconds to mars was so hard to sit through) so I’m going to see LTJ and Joyce but I selfishly hope I don’t miss anything from their set that wasn’t in there yesterday lol

 

Motion City Soundtrack and Less Than Jake both confirmed they’re playing different setlists today

 

I'm not expecting super deep cuts....the issue is its the exact exact exact exact same set to a T.

And the fact green day does all that nonsense filler (which has also been done to nauseum).

Blink doesn't tour as much so I can't complain about redundancy and they just released a new album with a bunch of new singles people know, so already you're getting some fresh stuff.

I love green day but now I know if green day plays any festival going forward, it's a skip.

My buddy is out there and was at the SoCo show on the audience singing song to every word and the last r next him was like, my son wrote all these songs, and he's like... Andrew???? Haha
