How does one of the greatest coaches of all time go about “quietly” signing a lucrative, multi-year extension before the season starts?

 

and, if you look through Trevor’s Twitter that’s basically his only post like that ever. So just really all around weird to me to use that *one* time he said something SORTA competitive as an example of his entire personality. I would understand it if he was always doing that.

I take the reaching for criticism as respect though. Because no one would say shit about that tweet if he wasn’t a competitive force.

 

He’s done it the last like 4 contracts lol

 

When he came to the league I myself thought he was gonna be an arrogant asshole who constantly said shit like that. I mean he looks like every privileged white jock ever so I was legitimately assuming I wouldn’t like him much off the field.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find he’s the total opposite, though. He constantly shows gratitude and accountability and rarely ever toots his own horn or says boastful / indignant shit - if anything he’s still TOO shy about talking shit and that’s why he sucks at it, he should do it more
