  1. Oh yeah, I remember that Ananas is German for pineapples. Same in Portugal? Shared word?

Lol google "Nickelback fans in Portugal"

  3. It hasn't been hostility toward having opinions, but a debate on whether on not opinions can be wrong, whether opinions can be more informed by others, and whether there's any objectivity possible whatsoever within people's opinions.

To keep this off (or on?) topic..

If you want to lose even more respect for Nickelback, I think everyone should check out this video of their guitarist 'teaching' you how to play "Photograph."

He doesn't know what the chords are

i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

Been spending the last few weeks with the JEW discography in anticipation of Integrity Blues. I'm not as big a fan or a diehard as a lot of you and up until the release of "Get It Right" I thought that Damage's closer, "You Were Good" was a fitting explanation of my thoughts on JEW as they have been getting worse as the records go for the last two releases.

    Favorite album order:

    Futures
    Chase This Light
    Bleed American
    Clarity
    Invented
    Damage

    Favorite Closer order:

    "23"
    "Dizzy"
    "Goodbye Sky Harbor"
    "My Sundown"
    "Mixtape"
    "You Were Good"

Right? "And then you go to this chord, which is different than the first two chords."

The best part is when he notices his guitar is out of tune and says "I'll have to talk to my guitar tech about that." haha

Hahahaha, I don't think I got that far. I guess if he doesn't know what notes or chords are, it makes sense that he wouldn't be able to actually tune the guitar.

Haven't heard "Pol Rogers" so I can't comment on this.. but I'd like to point out that the guitar solo on the Invented b-side "Anais" is essentially exactly the same as the guitar solo in "Talk Dirty To Me" by Poison.

No it's not "legal" to just steal a piece of existing music.. but substantial musical similarity would have to be proven, and it would have to be proven that the infringer would have somehow had access/been exposed to the stolen work. So the short answer is no, you can't just steal a guitar solo haha
