The best part of the song is definitely the second verse... melodically. But the lyrics are a bit cringey, lol.

Not necessarily a complaint, just an observation.

 

the second verse sounds like a melody from Avril Lavigne or something but I can’t figure out what song it is

 

the “sad but true” part reminds me of a part in the new kenny song tshirt. there’s something in the melody / phrasing of this song that sounds a lot like the feldman travis production / songwriting style. idk enough about song structures to put a finger in it, but I hear it big time.

 

Glad they took The Story So Far with them on tour. Awesome band. Blink has good taste.

 

Just glad there's 12 new tracks in a week so I can think less about this one, and there will be joke songs that will make this one look better

 

Mark via discord regarding setlist additions when someone asked what Skiba era songs they might add:

“maybe Darkside”

Having two out of three responses to the question not be Skiba-era songs sure doesn't bode well for that era.

Also is anyone else not that crazy about Mutt? It's a perfectly fine song but it's pretty easily my least favorite on Enema (besides maybe Party Song)

 

It’s fun to play on bass. Beyond that it doesn’t really hold up for me.

 

Time to rank all the Enema tracks lol.

 

Least favourite on Enema is ATST. Not because of its popularity or influence or whatever, just rank it last out of the 12.

 

I’m sad that I know that both of these situations actually happened to Tom and Landon and are truthful lyrics. Haha.
