Maybe naive but if it was a contract thing can't an artist just say that? Or do contracts often not let them be disparaging? Idk anything about the music industry behind the scenes but even if an artist can just say "hey it's a bit of a mess with contracts and figuring out the moving pieces but I am aware of the allegations and am doing what I can to address the concerns and will provide more of an update when i can" would be better than silence idk.

 

I think we have to acknowledge why those documents even exist - because Phoebe accused someone of abuse and they in turn sued her for millions and used the lawsuit to reveal a bunch of irrelevant personal things about her and her friends. She isn’t going to just throw something up on her Instagram story again.

 

Sorry. You make a good point. In my (ignorant) defense, I stopped using Twitter two years ago so my knowledge of this situation is literally limited to this message board and the Reddit stuff that was posted.
