are the games in London just so common now that the week-long fanfare isnt as necessary/popular?

i'm sitting here like, how have they not left yet??? i feel like a few years ago it was like, literally a week long thing. teams would land on tuesday, like superbowl week, do media and such and then get some practices in.

now it feels like they literally just fly in and fly out asap.

 

Things I factor into finding teams to root for:
Do I like their jerseys? Nope. They're ugly
Do I like the city they play in? Nope. Move to a real city already.
Do I think they're fun to watch? Nope, they appear to be a laborious bore to watch, and their fans make it appear painful.
Do they have any players I'm particularly invested in. Nope, I liked Sunshine more in Remember the Titans
Do I have any bets/arguments/takes they can prove right? Not really, no.

They strike out on everything lol

 

It has very little to do with that 2019, though it is fun to see how mad Matt gets every time I bring it up haha

 

Not liking Trevor Lawrence is just salt, he’s a good young player and a class act person (knock on wood)

City sucks sure, but teams leaving dedicated small market fanbases just to be more famous is lame. Owners are already rich they don’t need to be petulant children. At least Cleveland to Baltimore was a lateral move in terms of that. I don’t think St Louis is that great but I hate that the Rams moved back to LA.

Jerseys aren’t daring enough to be ugly, if anything they’re just boring.

They actually are a fun team to watch now (for once) which is why the 2-3 games our OC was neutering our offense were annoying. That seems to not be an issue anymore since the London games

I feel like teams should absolutely travel on Tuesday and practice there all week. I get that its a big ask to be away from your family that long though.

I honestly just loathe their color scheme. The teal does nothing for me. Their best jerseys are white and black which...isn't really their color scheme lol.

Literally every week you matt and morgan seemed PAINED watching them. I've watched them pretty often the last year and a half and just...meh.

I'm good. Just not a team I'm ever gonna really sink my teeth into.

We just flat out disagree on jerseys then (which is fine)

the uniforms are the only thing I don’t like about the Lions (that specific blue color looks so outdated and kitschy and the silver doesn’t even really match it) and I love the Jags teal
