This is hilarious again because I just went back and found the response where you completely ignored my post about the slaughter of civilians. But I decided not to. I just deleted my post and refreshed the page to this. Incredible.

 

I think the big disconnect is that several posters here seem to think anyone shocked/upset/etc about what Hamas did can't possibly also believe this, even as many prominent left wing thinkers/pundits/politicians/etc are saying yeah like this was extremely brutal and bad even though we support Palestinian freedom

 

Also, this just further proves that it doesn’t matter what I actually say. I didn’t do it in the right order or whatever so it doesn’t matter that I made a post that only says “free Palestine.” Cool, cool.

You are assuming people think that. Can you show a post where somebody actually said this? There’s been a lot of posts, so I could have missed it.

you’re saying this isn’t the most people you’ve ever seen point out Israel’s role in a terrorist attack on their own people? To me it feels like I’m reading stuff from people that woulda got them “canceled” 15 years ago

 

I have not seen that many people place the blame of Hamas’s actions on Israel just people claiming those that do that are excusing the murders of civilians. Literally in this thread multiple times over the course of three days.

 

Tsai said it was her duty to safeguard Taiwan's sovereignty and its democratic, free way of life, seeking "free, unrestricted, and unburdened interactions" between Taiwan and China's people.

Finally some uplifting international news

China's foreign ministry responded to Tsai's speech on Tuesday, calling the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities the "greatest threat" to peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait for "seeking independence and provocation".

"No matter what the DPP authorities say or do, they cannot change the fact that Taiwan is a part of China. It will not change the general trend that China will inevitably move towards reunification," ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin told a regular press briefing.

But they are also simultaneously still mad at Hamas for slaughtering civilians, so what they say doesn’t count. Apparently.
