    It is.

It all started when the Jews pushed away the settlers from their land because their religion said the lands was promised to them.

The main point of conflict is Jerusalem since it's critical to both sides religions. When you have 2 kids that want an apple and you only have one you can slice it in 2. Doesn't work that way with Jerusalem. For them it's all or nothing. 72 virgins. The Jewish settlers. The leaders. All agendas being pushed by religion extremists that are getting innocent people killed because of their own insanity. That's also why a 2 state solution will never work. You will never have 2 sides that are happy. NEVER. And at this point in time you can't really do anything about it that will make sense. You can't give the Palestinians part of their land back because they won't be happy if they won't get Jerusalem, and that will not happen.

It's a dead end. You can list thousands of problems and talk about why it happens but there is no sensible solution that will stop the bloodshed.

I genuinely find amusing that various people have not only pointed out that you’re wrong but you’re too stubborn to argue with them.

Definitely murder the innocent children in bloodlust in front of their siblings. That is the rightful and just choice.

discussing any of this is pointless because yall are just operating out of revenge bloodlust rather than any rationality. The consequences will be increased brutalization of innocent Palestinians and the cycle continues. But good job enthusiastically cheering on and typing allah akbar from your cushy seats.

this is all tragic and sad and I wish for the end of the apartheid regime from Israel and I wish for the end to terrorism and bloodshed to any innocent people whether it be from IDF or Hamas. Clearly the back and forth bloodshed has not solved anything.

Haven't seen anyone commented on it, maybe it's someone I blocked a long time ago. Doesn't change anything, I stand by what I say.

All the tears over Hamas being barbaric ring hollow to me when you see the pics of Israelis tailgating as bombs drop on Gaza as far back as 2014. Where was the krassenstein appeal to emotion post about that?

do you think Hamas just popped out of the depths of hell one day and started a cartoonishly evil rampage against innocent people? or have decades of human rights abuses and brutal oppression fostered an environment for a group like Hamas to form?

  11. Hey jackass, you're also typing this from a cushy couch.

And what has helped the Palestinians? The more they’ve relied on peace the more has been taken from them. The people in Gaza live in constant suffering. When they rise up and there is blood do you think it helps to call them out or would it be more helpful if every spineless politician instead said Israel this is what your oppression has caused, we must negotiate a solution in good faith and end the apartheid immediately. Like are you telling Ukraine to stop bombing Russians or is their retaliation ok because they get nice shiny tanks and missiles from the US?

  13. The rightful and just choice is to continue to suffer and die and wait for the world to decide they're worth helping. If it never comes, oh well, at least you never resorted to violence and took your genocide with the kind of grace that gets you American ignoramus approval

in my eyes the blood of innocents is solely on Israel’s hands. all of this is their doing. all of it.

You’re just making shit up from xenophobic stereotypes. You clearly have no understanding of the actual history.

2014? Oof, it goes way beyond that. And I usually stay out of this iscussion here because I have friends and family out there and it's too personal for me.

Ok, so prove me wrong, I'm open to discussion.

  20. "Discussing this is pointless" is a cousin of "it's just such an ancient and complicated conflict there is no way to get a full understanding of it." A coward's excuse to give their tacit support to the status quo

You're just not gonna get most normies on board with what Hamas did. It'd be one thing if it were IDF forces they attacked and such, but most people aren't going to stomach attacks on civilians just living life. Most of them don't like it when Israel does it either but they either 1. don't see it as often in the media for some obvious reasons, or 2. Are better able to compartmentalize a few people dead here and there vs. 500 or whatever from one attack. You'll see a lot of these milquetoast people start calling for a ceasefire not long after the videos of Israel's attacks and their results start coming out. At the end of the day, most of them are just "don't want to see people dying" types without much ideological thought about the conflict.

I think the best you'll get from most people is "israel's actions, especially the expansion of settlements over the last few years, are why we find ourselves in this position right now, but I can't get on board with Hamas killing civilians either"...and frankly, if I'm getting that out of people, I'm taking it as a win because I don't think we were getting that 20 years ago from more than the fringiest of fringe on the left. Maybe I'm wrong but it def seemed way more taboo to point out Israel's responsibility back then than it is now.
