I thought The Menzingers doesn't go out until January?

 

Ah fuck! You’re right. Haven’t had coffee yet and thought Menzingers shipped through Kings Road, but it’s for LS Dunes haha.

Assumed it was them since their album comes out Friday.

 

When you’re waiting for someone else to update Discogs with the latest variant of an album…

 

After waffling all night, I woke up this morning and decided to go for it. But of course it already sold out, so that's fun.

 

This reminded me to check if my variant of FYS Brain Pain Deluxe is finally on Discogs. Alas, it is! Added!

 

Rifled though the collection. Going to get rid of about 40 lps and 9 7's. Going to offload them at a shop at some point.

The shelves still look full!

suddenly don't feel like I own too many records

 

the mass inner resleeving process is complete. pictured above is the aftermath of old paper inner sleeves. also finally acquired some oversized outer sleeves from vinylstoragesollutions.ca for consistency (because i didn't wanna leave my copies of The Fragile unsleeved any longer, haha).

 

Why’d you replace the paper sleeves? Better protection?

 

I'm finally putting my entire collection into Discogs while watching the Red River Rivalry and just discovered the La Dispute Wildlife pressing I found used for $11 is worth about $50. Absolutely gorgeous discs.

 

bingo. just wanted something that wouldn't degrade over time or cause too much friction or static or scratch the discs when removing the records.
