The problem is mainly with Itamar Ben Gvir, an extremist that Netanyahu made a deal with in order to win the last elections. He put him in a highly ranking military position. For months now Ben Gvir is provoking the Palestinians close to the settlements, promoting the IDF to move a huge mass of their forces to that area and leaving the Gaza strip wide open. There have been reports for weeks now of Hamas and Jihad getting ready for a big strike such as this but no one was listening. Now we need to wait and see what is happening with their "friends" in the North which is way open for a strike from Syria. Even with the big opportunity they have, Hezbollah might want to sit this one out.

You are acting like any of these people actually wanted to be in this situation... Why would anyone want to get born into this stupid war? This attack will accomplish nothing but bring more death into this already deadly war.
