actually I've maybe played 5 or 6 times since my boss got fired back in May. Just makes me sad now.

 

it isn't just revisionist history to say we should have drafted CJ because of his insane start (not saying anyone here is saying that). he was the guy before the draft and he's the guy now 1/4 through the season. all the signs about why bryce was a question mark have been proven right. not saying he was undraftable, though im not far from that lol, but he isn't the guy you go all in on and take at 1 after cratering the rest of your team. i feel bad for him. he probably wasn't going to succeed anyways but he certainly isn't going to with adam thielen, a rookie that's already hurt, hayden hurst and two shitty running backs as his only options.

 

i do think the "point guard" mentality could work if your guy is AR, pending his health obviously. it isn't a guy who would be too short to play point guard in the nba let alone qb in the nfl.

I do think it's revisionist history though. Bryce was QB1 on basically every draft website for the entire college season and draft process. If the Texans picked #1, they most likely would have taken Bryce.
