It is the only time in the last 6 years a WR has won the simplest routes that many times

 

For the record I turned the game on thinking I was gonna be mad impressed with Fields

this is my genuine response to seeing how he had such good numbers. I wanted to know! And it is a damning look for Washington defense and JDR more than anything

 

its just...if the D is giving you those plays, why should he be dinged for taking them?

Nobody is claiming that Fields is all of the sudden an elite player. But he has been a ton better the past 2 games, and that is a start. That is all.

 

I’ve almost bought that game a couple of times. Looking forward to having more time to do stuff like that in a year or two.

My buddy had set up this cool D&D campaign idea where real-life Earth/the universe is blended with this sci-fi universe through some experimentation in the sci-fi universe. We were going to start but then Jameson was born and haven’t been able to pin a time down. It’s going to be all online, if you’d be interested, I can let you know once we have a time pinned down? I think with being gone more I may have some time to play finally but we’ll see

 

on Claypool, I am wondering if Miami almost uses him like a TE. Isn't he a pretty decent blocker?

River Cracraft was Miami's best blocking WR and he hurt his shoulder last week

 

effort seemed to be an issue, so no blocking is not something he did well (at least in chicago)

221 of 282 yards though? 3 of 4 touchdowns? That’s literally almost the whole game. It’s weird to not acknowledge that’s bad defense and it would’ve made a lot of mediocre QBs look good

Really I’m just thankful that this builds WR depth so that the Phins can fulfill the destiny and trade Ced Wilson for Jonathan Taylor

 

No reason he shouldn’t be a very good run blocker, as he’s proven he’s able to. Dude is huge and quick. It’s what made his viral low effort plays earlier this season so baffling. Jump balls and run blocking should be his bread and butter, but wouldn’t execute either consistently

 

And have I not admitted since then that it was hella wrong and talking myself into Blake Bortles for years is one of my worst takes ever?

I'd guess they wanted another big body to throw to in red zone scenarios too since they really only have Smythe right?

 

yeah I mean he definitely has a skillset/body type that they don't have at WR, its just a bit weird

its whatever, they gave up nothing and he is gone after the year anyways
