I love all their albums (top 5 band for me) but I don't agree with that statement

 

Well, they did until AM at least. Whatever People Say I Am will always be my fav but I can't deny the others have better songs

 

Love them but the debut is my favorite

 

This isn't so much an opinion as a possibly unpopular fact, but I've never really listened to Paramore. I mean, I'm sure I've heard one or more of their songs (the only one I know I've listened to more than once was their cover of "My Hero"), but I've never listened to an album all the way through and couldn't name a song by them or tell you how a chorus goes.

 

You're not missing much imo

 

The Only Exception was a Safeway staple a few years ago when I would go grocery shopping

 

Yeah, you're not missing much. I'll jam out to All I Know is Falling or a few songs off of Riot every now and then, but everything after that was just meh.

 

I throw on their live CD every now and then. The intro they did for Born for this and the extended intro/outro for Let the Flames Begin is so great. It's hard to listen to the studio version anymore after that.

 

Paramore's last album was by far their best imo

I don't know much about them and thought your name was a mash up of two great Bush songs. You learn something new every day.

 

I just listened to that record today actually.

I think it rocks plenty.

 

I never got into Paramore before but Still Into You and Ain't It Fun are both jams, also love her on Airplanes and Stay The Night

 

Oh I like the album fine, and it has some rock on it but it's waaaayyy more pop compared to their previous albums. So my point was that it's the "best by far" if you like the poppier them.

 

You ever think maybe people just like the best them? So that's why they say it's the best?

 

Haha well since people like different things, some people like myself think the best them is BNE and not the newer album that went more pop. So to answer your question, I think we all like the album that's the best them, it's just people disagree on what the best them is depending on their taste.

 

I think it's clearly the worst.

Still got some jams though.

 

BNE is my favorite Paramore but the self titled is great and shows just how talented and skilled Haley and co are.

 

I haven't listened to a full paramore album since BNE but that album is ace as hell

 

well then you fucked up because the last one has some of their best songs pretty easily
it's too long and that holds it back but there are some all timers on that
considered all three of their last to be on my list tbh

Dang Paramore was one of my favorite bands until the past few years. I had the AWKIF CD, RIOT! MVI CD/DVD, The Final RIOT! CD/DVD, and the limited deluxe box edition of BNE...And a t shirt from hot topic. hahaha. I would say to those who haven't listened that they're missing out but...Hey.

I don't connect with the self titled anywhere near as much. I think there are a few good songs on there but as an album it doesn't resonate with me.

 

Every sane person knows that AWKIF is the best Paramore album. Every song is great (apart from Franklin which is just alright).
