yeah smoking killed both my grandpas, it's so foreign to me that people still smoke like we've known it kills people for years plus it smells

 

I think i feel the way about alcohol most people in here seem to feel about cigs. Alcohol has been horrible for my family, and i feel like shit every time i drink anything other than exactly one cocktail, so i don’t find drinking that enjoyable. I do like bars in concept.

 

Alcohol is very far down on my list of favorite drugs but there's nothing quite like 3 beers when you're out with the boys. But if I'm not like, doing something, out somewhere, feeling some kind of social energy, alcohol is basically disgusting to me lol

 

One of my bigger issues with cigarettes is how harmful second hand smoke is and how bad the filters are for the environment. It’s not a drug that seems to provide much benefit and it also, at least in the form of cigarettes, harms others and the environment directly.

 

An edible and a good movie/YouTube video is a great way to end a day in my opinion. Also really like being a little stoned on the train or at a show.

Yeah alcohol has been a contributor to some terrible things in my life, particularly my very early childhood. I do drink but alcohol abuse is a huge problem.
I read a couple really good articles on prohibition recently and I totally empathize with the women behind that movement who had to deal with alcoholic men making their entire families’ lives hell.

 

alcohol has for sure done more damage to society than most illicit drugs and it's scary how our society encourages lowkey alcoholism

 

I am the only person in my core family that isn’t an alcoholic

 

My family has tons of alcoholics but I got blessed with basically being allergic to it. I physically gag even trying to take a sip!

 

I hope he died on the car ride home

 

It’s a jump scare to watch old Colbert Report clips and see how in the bag he was for Kissinger.

 

They emptied an entire can of bear spray and it didn’t stop the beast. Just like with sharks and the ocean, I completely surrender myself to bear country. No interest in inviting myself into that nonsense. It’s simply not my place and that’s ok.

I’ve encountered black bears multiple time and they’re totally fine. Wouldn’t go on any hike with less than a whole ass group of 15 people in grizzly country lmao. Been terrified of them ever since watching Grizzly Man one of the first times I smoked weed

 

I can handle black bears. I’ve seen a few before and they completely disregarded my existence. That’s how I like it.

Grizzlies would most likely do the same, but the consequence is far worst if the situation turns south.

I think bears are some of the coolest animals, but bear country sends a wake up call of where the line should be drawn. And the idea of going through grizzly areas in national parks without a gun? big nah

 

Even at 37 years old, I've never been drunk once in my life, and I sure hope to keep it that way, haha. Have never liked the taste of beer. I had 2 and 1/2 glasses of wine at an event last Thursday, getting slightly tipsy, and then the next day my head hurt like a bitch - never again

 

31 and have only taken one sip of a mixed drink. Didn’t like it. I was offered to finish it (this was at a concert) and turned it down. Never cared to ever try again.

Being DD helped. I was also the one to clean up my friend’s mess and was the only person in my friend group that tried to help keep one of my friends sober due to alcoholism running in his family. I failed and the next few years were a roller coaster.

Never cared to smoke. Smokers smell and it’s not cool to have your clothes, car, and furniture smell like smoke.

 

I was kind the same; in the years after college, whenever I went out with friends, I was always the DD, which was nice as I didn't have to worry about blowing a ton of money on booze during the night out, I felt good the next morning, and my friends would usually pay for packing anyways, so it all worked out.

 

Drink more water wtf lol

 

I’m going to get very drunk this weekend

 

Probably eating some Hokkaido ice cream and bubble tea this weekend. Not much healthier
