I’m just excited this will be the first time Christian is presented and feels on the same level as Edge in a feud.

perhaps im being parasocial and projecting, but there was a air of nervousness to Edge last night until he called out Christian. i bet being given a mic in a new place w no script compared to the WWE environment is wild for previous lifers. but man, when that switch flipped... on his own level Edge, MJF, White and Joe are my top actors in wrestling and we have them all under one roof and mingling. fuck yeah.

 

I wonder how much they’re in their own heads like “don’t say WWE. Don’t say Raw” etc when they first come over. Or if the other people are like ok don’t call them by their WWE name

 

NXT ratings are insane. Becky is bringing eyes and every one seems to have raised their game in turn, they may have a bonafide third brand again before long

I wish wrestling fans would listen to wrestlers when they plea and ask them to stop with the tribalism

 

i saw a tweet that tony asked for an overrun because of the audio glitch during the cole segment. unfortunately dvr set times are already in place once the show is on the air, so my recording ended just as christian entered the ring. missed the entire interaction.

seriously, what’s more important: replaying a pretaped comedy segment, or your last live segment of the show. the cole piece could have easily been reshared on socials. stupid decision.

 

I mean, Christian/edge segment is going to be on socials, too

 

this absolutely sucks and i'd be just as frustrated, but Dynamite is about to get preempted all over fuckin town for sports and going up against NXT etc, they are focused on keeping the live viewers happy

 

I’d argue making your live viewers happy is far more important that inconveniencing DVR viewers especially when the segment was going to be all over their socials anyways. If it were a match I’d see your point though.

 

so you would be fine seeing the same segment aired twice on the same program? i sure don’t.

 

Well if you couldn’t hear it the first time and it’s only a couple minutes long? Sure! It’s not like you actually understood it the first time and they are playing it again for no reason at all. People are way too fickle when it comes to criticizing wrestling companies lol

 

Not to mention that MJF/Cole stuff is the hottest angle in the company right now.

 

Yeah, if it were another segment no. But with MJF/Cole segments it’s their hottest angle.

 

I watch on YouTube tv and always start the show like 30-40 mins after it starts and fast forward through commercials. I watched the Cole segment without sound then sat through it again with sound.

Also that Vader/Cactus Jack match on that PPV fucking rules.
