It’s so weird to see him do that entrance on that tiny stage and with his music so muffled

 

He's gotta figure out that entrance...he comes out to smoke, runs off camera, and its like, 10s in that he finally actually appears clear on camera. Felt even worse at the PPV

 

Glad I'm not the only one who thought this.

Seeing Edge in aew is still unreal and weird in a way.

Insane how the Christian signing might arguably be the most entertaining out of all the “major” ones. Danielson would be right there but in terms of just the absolute hilarious shit he’s doing on tv every week

it might just be Christian

 

Funny enough, his heel character is WAY better than any version of Punks. Like, CM Punk is anti-management...Edge's character would have been canceled alongside Harvey. There's space for them to do so many things while messing around with what WWE made Edge do as a character.

Funniest part of this is he was a "major announcement" that people sorta scoffed at...he got that mini-feud with Kenny that was basically fine...totally possible he went the way of Matt Hardy or Johnny Mundo or any other vet and disappeared...and instead, he's THE dude who's brought a bunch of people in and made creative space for something as crazy as Edge appearing

 

Its definitely weird to think that the timeline is "Jericho wants to fight in NJPW->Mox is bored->Christian isnt getting valued->Edge debuts...and in between is like an entire ECW roster of people WWE wasted than can glom onto an already existing thing and boost a dozen guys WWE didnt want.

And of course, the hottest WWE has ever been is built on 4-5 guys that are naturals in AEW that WWE cant let go (KO, Sami, Gunther, etc)

 

Does this mean the edge and christian podcast will be back?
