He has SA allegations against him involving drugging girls, why would he want to draw attention to that?

 

He doesn't have to address that. He can literally just say he isn't in the band anymore, end quote. But also, allegations are just that. Would be awesome to have some decent evidence.

 

What exactly does him saying anything do for him or anybody? He simply just isn’t in the band anymore and AJ has made that clear that he’s gone. He clearly is trying to distance himself from the whole situation considering he dropped off the face of the earth for months after it happened and returned completely avoiding ever even bringing up the band again.

Do you need him to personally say he’s not in the band to believe he’s not in the band? There’s just no point, I don’t get it

 

Would be "awesome" to have some decent evidence? I'm sorry but that sounds strange to me. May want to re think using that word. Simply, their entire headlining tour ended mid tour abruptly, and he is no longer in a band he was in for over a decade... That should be enough to show something happened. The band isn't popular enough for it to be at an Anti flag level where it would ever make news headlines, or people involved speaking out. There was a reddit thread if you look back through here, but the person who posted in it saying they were there that night, and also felt drugged, they deleted their comments. I say it be best to move on

 

To be clear, he did actually bring up the band recently through insta stories, shortly after the day of the sun event, so he wasn't "completely" distancing himself.
Also, AJ was out of the country for months after the situation, so that made him seem pretty guilty, imo. As well as Christian, who said he wasn't associated with the band and then came back. So your comment on dropping off the face of the earth and distancing honestly has little merit.

Sure, something normal and not distracting is fine. I don’t know why, but artists making weird hats central to their “look,” either in perpetuity or for a specific era/album cycle, is a big pet peeve. I think it’s because of that awful band AJR and the singer’s douchey hat. Had to sit through an opening set of theirs once, and have ever since hated most hats.

It’s even dumber in the context of what his band sounds like. Like if he were doing some blues rock or some country/roots type stuff sure I’d get it but this mf plays music in a genre that was popular with teenagers in 2005
