I think these tour mats are just trolling me at this point. Also, what does 'Backline Provided By" refer to?

 

They're a guitar cab company that I assume is sponsoring the fest by providing their gear for all the bands to use.

If it's not Weezer, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, or Taylor Swift ticket pricing discourse it has no business being in this thread.

 

These shows look super fun! The line-up is solid across the board but I'm super jealous of anybody who gets to see Sludgeworth and the Popes together.

 

Considering three of the four bands on this lineup are probably flying in for this (I know Tomb Mold and Outer Heaven are for sure because they never tour. Mortiferum probably is. Phobophilic will probably be touring around this if I had to guess), it makes sense for a constant backline to be there. Makes complete sense for a guitar cab company to want to get their name out there for sponsoring this since metalheads who play who listen to this type of stuff also are gear nerds especially with an Austin based company.

 

I'm surprised I haven't seen it on an flyer or fest or anything before, it's such a good idea

This is a slam death metal band.

 

Even though I smoke hella weed, I like that they're bringing back the militancy to straight edge. NCSEDSFY is a crazy track. Plus they cover Firestorm.

I think I like the singer's other band, Wielded Steel more though.

I dont really care about Depech Mode (im sure they're great live) but I'd love to go just for a chance to see DIIV tbh. Im not gonna pay TD Garden prices just for an opener though.
