Went to the Metalcore Dropouts tour last night, besides a third of the crowd leaving after Devil Wears Prada, Counterparts was a highlight.

Brendon’s callouts before breakdowns were awesome.

It’s funny how TDWP is somehow bigger than ever

 

the new album was a really big hit and they had a lot of songs get added to Spotify playlists, octane, etc. people knew every word to those new songs.

this has been my go to for a while now - 1) be in the thick of the fun 2)keep the potential wildcards in front of you as to not be blindsided 3) while still seeing the band, haha

 

their newest album is really good

 

Mitski presale, as expected, is a shitshow. 2 more shows added in NYC.

 

Prada's bigger than they were 5 years ago, while I think Fit For A King has been searching for the last two or albums on what worked with their old albums that they can take forward with the new stuff. Which has been a lot of trial and error.

 

I’m finally seeing Jimmie’s Chicken Shack tonight for the first time! Woo!

 

Mitski sold out four shows in Chicago (15,500 tickets) in minutes and I wasn't able to get one :(

The entire tour is probably sold out just from presale alone.

 

thats amazing for her. I think I missed her blowing up, looked at Spotify and saw like 5 songs with over 190M streams, Wow!

Metal band logos are soooo obnoxious. Turns me off from even giving any of that music a chance haha.
