Just saw this and how they have the four member cards instead of five. Not surprising at all but interesting to see.

Also, pretty sure this is the first version of the vinyl that features the two bonus tracks tacked on to the end instead of Anniversary being added in before The Story So Far. Which means a new lacquer was cut for this release...tempting to get.

New to this forum, so forgive me if its already been asked and answered, but...
Anyone think Steve will ever get let back in the band?
I'm tired of getting albums that are worse than the last one with every release.

I know he still has to be registered for life and stuff, but weren't all the charges dropped?
Would people even care at this point? If I got a kick ass release again, I wouldn't think twice.

 

Doubt it. I feel like both parties don't want it to happen.

 

I'd rather the band have the bad album between good albums than that creep be anywhere near them.

Also, according to the band, Steve didn't even contribute very much to the earlier albums anyway. So I don't think if he came back the band would suddenly be any better/worse. They'd probably just be exactly the same.

Yeah, It would be a definite dealbreaker for lots of fans if he ever came back. It’s also nice to see them have friends from other bands fill in on second guitar. It was cool to see Anthony from Bayside killing it with them last week. They’ve done very well to bounce back from having to kick him out of the band.

I’ll go on the record and say this is my favorite band and one that means so much to me… but I don’t buy that Steve wasn’t the main lyricist for even a second. In the early days they always said he was. And when he left the lyrics damn near fell off a cliff. I still love them though. And no, I don’t want him to come back.

 

It’s always felt very save face and try to distance themselves for sure

 

Huge LOL that they were looking into Catlayst vinyl back then and it’s still not a thing. I know it’s coming soon, but Yeesh.

 

As for Steve, yea, fairly certain it was said he was the lyrics guy on their DVD’s.

 

Why is there ANY devil's advocate being played with a potential return for Steve? Yuck. Get that out of here.

 

Steve was the primary lyricist, they can pretend he wasn’t all they want. Doesn’t change the fact that he’s a huge creep and glad he’s gone. I’ll take lesser lyrics and keep the band the way it is. Makes Me Sick exists so they’re capable!

 

Also lol at this answer when they sounded totally neutered with one live guitarist.
