Late to the game on this but just checked out Honor Society on Prime. Was not prepared for that cute of a movie. Mad Easy A vibes

 

I was so pleasantly surprised by it. I put it on just as something to kind of have in the background and got sucked in so fast. Loved the ending too

 

Sanctuary fucking rules but I'm really curious why I only ever see it labelled as a thriller (and sometimes even a horror movie) when it's very clearly a comedy. It's super silly. Margaret Qualley is incredible in it.

 

Yeah it's just a romantic comedy really. It's wonderful.

 

I think they just don't know how to market it. thrillers do tend to have a lot of twists and turns so at least that fits. It's more like if The Phantom Thread were turned into a bottle episode set in modern times

 

I was anxious literally the entirety of Sanctuary haha

 

Max just autoplayed a new episode of Friends in Spanish so that was interesting lol

 

1987 TMNT is finally on Paramount+. Just only the first 18 episodes right now. Hopefully they put the entire series up eventually.

A legit new episode of friends in Spanish randomly popping up would be very funny though.

 

Man I still will never get sitcom fans who don't like Friends. Funniest traditional sitcom I've ever seen.

friends is mid

 

People always talk about how friends or seinfeld aged but I never hear anyone talk about the bad ways that Cheers aged. I still like the show but there's a few times where Sam straight up slaps Dianne in the face lmao (I mean not funny but laughing thru the audacity and absurdity).

 

There was an episode or two of homophobia too. I think it’s generally acknowledged that Cheers aged poorly. It’s era was before Seinfeld and Friends though so I’m not sure the direct comparison is fair. It’s just also funny for a good chunk of its run unlike Friends

 

Definitely some homophobic jokes here and there in friends, too

 

I am good with the top 5. Maybe wouldn't have put the top 5 in that exact order though.

Girls in the top 10 made me yell "WHAT!?"

Also I am sure there are some going through this list upset/puzzled by Better Call Saul being way ahead of Breaking Bad, but I agree with that choice.

 

I have been making an effort to use Peacock more to get the most out of my annual sub. All I watch on it is Dateline and Law & Order.

 

I'm fine with that choice too, although I don't think I've ever seen Breaking Bad that low on ALL TIME lists, much less one just covering the current century lol
