i have been kind of basking in how the last few years have been the best ever for all the stuff that i like, and last night was a perfect summation. the Edge/Christian dynamic is very singular to me because it is so entrenched and established and almost entirely unmined - they spent like, no time together in actuality. they get put in the same conversation as the Hardys because of what they accomplished in that time, but we've barely seen them team or face each other in over 20 years. it is both old and completely new and i am so glad these stars aligned. Montreal in December is going to be insane.

 

Still not over that Bryan/ZSJ match. Goddamn.

 

I hope Christian references how he was the one who had to take all of the Dudley Boy table bumps in their feud.

Y’all I am so so happy. Edge and Bryan Danielson in the same company. Edge is gonna be what CM Punk should have been, an actual good resource for all of the roster, and a wonderful positive influence. I adore Adam Copeland.

 

So besides his recent WWE return and the couple mehhish matches I've seen since then, the only Edge I've really ever known was "For those with the benefit of flash photography" Edge. Interested to see what happens in a non-WWE setting.

Things are going to be shuffled a bit with the MLB playoffs on TBS.

 

Man, I’m on a high from last nights show. What a fun, well booked masterpiece of a B show that didn’t have a ton of momentum due to the short build. I’m ready for AEW to have 12 of these a year and go to new places for big shows. They just need to announce them more in advance. If this show went on sale at the beginning of August or Mid July, I think they easily sell a couple thousand more tickets. One month is not a lot of time for people to save up or make plans for a weekend trip.

 

oh man I just realized the best part about edge having to go under the name Adam Copeland

When they have Roderick Strong interrupt him the first time with that "Adaaaaam!!!!", its gonna get a big pop

 

Im a little sad that both Hardy's are washed, because an E&C vs Hardys stare down would have had people losing their minds
