I think that’s just in a historical sense from European immigrants migrating there. Deicatessens were popularized in NY by Jews and Germans (and other sandwich shops by Italians). Hence why I don’t really know if that applies if you’re not talking about a very culture-specific sandwich

Najee is his RB. That entire offense is basically guys they signed since bringing Canada onto the staff. Since 2021, I think they've scored 30pts as many times in total as they did in the 2018 season alone. 5 of the last 6 seasons at .500 (or basically 9-7). He's falling into Jeff Fisher territory fast.

Cowher got 15 seasons, 2 of the last 3 were either a SB or 15-1 season, and he still got booted. I think after this season...where its clear the offense is a bust and the new GM's in place...its time to move on

 

Also, I think Tomlin would have been a dream hire for a team like the Texans or Bears or those other teams just churning coaches every couple years.

Being known for delis is really more of a NYC area specific thing than a whole-northeast thing I feel like, because of that history of it being the pinnacle place to emigrate

 

i barely survived Soupy calling Philly the midwest and I will literally kill a man if he called it THE SOUTH

it's more like saying North Carolina has great bbq. because they do and they're known for it and yes you can get BBQ in Florida but it's not as culturally significant

I've talked about this with @Swoos a bunch. Their WR room is good enough when everyone is 100% healthy but if one person is off then you just have a bunch of guys who can only run like two routes and a WR who is older than all of us
