First two episodes of Fionna and Cake are interesting but kind of a downer on their own. Still very excited for the rest, I'm sure it'll be much better as a whole

 

My Adventures with Superman is fucking killing it. Super good

 

So bummed that the season is over :(

 

Not really feeling the latest episode of Harley Quinn. I was kinda hoping this show would skip the whole Barbara getting shot thing or at the very least change it like Young Justice did

 

Man I need to dive back into that show, forgot the latest season started

 

Them and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn are wonderful

 

Season finale thoughts
-Joker's reasoning for shooting Babs is pretty dumb but she's taking it pretty well so who am I to feel sorry for her when she herself feels frustrated at everyone treating her like a victim
-I was kinda iffy about them killing off Grayson as well but if they're gonna be using him as the series' Jason/Red Hood out to get revenge on Harley then I guess I can dig it
-The back half of this season felt really off, like Harley and Ivy didn't fit the roles they'd taken on, so I feel a bit vindicated when they figured it out for themselves and left the BatFam/LoD
-Superman depowered reminds me of Flashpoint. When Harley had Flash turn back time to "prank" Psycho I was kinda worried she'd at the very least entertain the idea of reversing Grayson getting killed/Babs getting shot. I think I like the direction they're going in
-Kite Man series looks fun. He's not really my favorite character, but hey, they made a show about Peacemaker work

 

I should be watching other stuff, but here I am starting a rewatch of Gargoyles instead

 

I'm meeting Don Bluth this weekend at our SLC Comic Con, and I'm gonna have him sign my Land Before Time VHS

that latest Puss in Boots movie was very surprisingly and unexpectedly great. loved it
