I’ve always been team “lyrics don’t really matter” unless you’re in that upper tier of lyricists. Most bands I’m in it for the music and how it makes me feel. Hence why I enjoy Sigur Ros so much without a fucking clue what they’re saying haha.

my favorite was when Anarchy My Dear by Say Anything was leaked like two days after it’s announcement. That was my first time I was ever truly disappointed with a release by a band I loved.
