Aren't we about due for some urinal cake changes? Those things have to be disgusting by now.

 

the lenticular vinyl pre-order they posted on there yesterday has images of some of the other songs lyrics. Jason screenshotted and posted them in here back a page or so yesterday. And everyone suddenly isn't excited for the album anymore because Blink-182 wrote songs that don't have lyrics that Bruce Springsteen would sign-off on.

 

I'm bummed they didn't aaaactually sell urinal cakes.

 

i'm happy chewing on these same old urinal cakes until Dance With Me presumably comes out next Friday. i don't wanna' hear anything else new before the album drops!

 

I'm not going to listen to any more pre-release singles. Trying not to overplay OMT and MTYK but they're both constantly stuck in my head..I'm sure I'll hear clips on social media of more new songs but going to avoid listening to anything until Oct. 20th.

The success of OMT on radio will probably push back the next single as it is.

Yeah I honestly wasn't expecting the next single til release week at earliest. Glad this was just a month from album announcement

 

My only weigh in on the lyric spoilers..... reading lyrics without the context of the instrumental, how it's sung, who sings it, etc. DOESN'T MATTER AS MUCH AS YOU THINK IT DOES.

Now why do we think their next single (Dance with Me?) will drop next week?

... and if the album leaks ahead of time, will you listen?

... also MTYK gets better and better with each listen.

Band like blink-182 doesn't need 4 advance singles. Or 3, given that Edging has been out for nearly a year. One More Time and MTYK seem to be doing well enough it's not necessary?

 

I can't decide... I think it kind of depends on how many of you in here ends up listening to a leak. If a lot of you do, and the album discourse starts taking off, then I will probably listen in order to join in on the discussion while it's hot in here.

 

I heard OMT on Sirius Hits 1 the other day and was shocked

 

And I was told it would only resonate with die hards of the band history!

 

I held off listening to Nine shockingly long after that leak

 

I am entirely satisfied with the pre-release music. I won't be able to resist listening to a new single or video drop, but overall I am fine to wait until the 20. I played OMT and MTYK a bunch last week but have not gone back since the weekend. Sufficiently Hyped.

 

I thiiiiink I held off from the leak of Nine too, if I remember right.

 

I think I can resist the temptation if OMT leaks. A late October release is too perfect not to let it happen as it should.

 

yeah, its release date is perfect for me, personally, because i'm seeing them at WWWY a day later. so hearing the album on friday and then seeing them on saturday feels like the most fun.

 

Going to be nuts! There was the slightest chance I was going to be able to help out at WWWY but it didn't work out. I would not do a festival weekend if not for catching a blink set, or going back to riot. Those sets are going to be bonkers.
