Player's Log: Trails From Zero.

Just finished the prologue, and started Chapter 1, and I immediately cheered and fist pumped because Estelle and Joshua Bright are reporting for duty! Fuck yeah!

Just started Lies of P. I don’t get why I’m struggling with combat compared to actual Souls games.

 

I’ve generally avoided turn based games thinking I didn’t like them but I just beat Sea of Stars and I loved every second, anybody got RPG recs on Game Pass that aren’t too complex/difficult?

I’ve already beat DQ11 which is one of the best games I’ve ever played but that’s it. Would buy a good indie but not looking to shell out AAA prices on something I may not dig.

I almost said this, i literally typed and then deleted it just because I do think Chained Echoes can be a bit difficult.

 

It’s not so bad if you turn down the battle difficulty, which I highly suggest doing personally.

 

Thank you both! Chained Echoes was the one I was eyeing, I remember @oldjersey saying it was pretty difficult but if there’s options for that I’ll likely get it.

I played a bit of LaD and while I was getting pretty into it and will likely go back and finish I think I want something where the cutscene to gameplay ratio isn’t 2:1 lol

yeah I lowered the difficulty on Chained Echoes when it got really tough. no regrets, great game.

Yesh as far as recent JRPG's go, like the past decade or so, it's #1 or #2 for me.
