dammit you made me want to tier draft classes and see how often they’re good versus how often teams should wait a year to draft a QB. I went through every draft class since 2000.

So that’s 3 great and 1 good class
5 decent classes
5 bad classes with only one good option
And EIGHT horrible classes with 0 good options

In the 22 years from 2000-2021. Lmao, holy shit it’s hard to draft a QB. You have like a 50% chance of there being 1 or 0 good QBs in the class at all, and even in the better classes you still gotta be really smart about who you take.

Jury is still out on ‘22 and ‘23 but so far you can still tell one of those was good and one of those wasn’t, so it’s pretty much 50/50 that it’s even worth trying to draft a QB if you don’t have pick 1
