But I remember it being very meh, so probably not. I bought it on the original Xbox back in the day.

 

I'm probably gonna snag it eventually.

It's sad that theres more remasters I wanna play than original games.

 

This is probably a new game being teased. I'm talking about Red Dead Revolver that's been out a few months already.

 

we were playing just normal since we all had barely got the game. I did 30 and then I stopped but it was fun.

 

Ahhhh the good ol' days with The Duke.

 

Red Dead Revolver graphics aren't as bad as I remember.

I'd honestly rather have a new IP by Rockstar than another Read Dead. That being said, I'd still buy a new one day one.

 

Picked up God Eater Resurrection on PS4 if anyone else has that.

It's up there with best voice acting I've ever heard in games. The games cutscenes continue to floor me. On PS4 I think I've had 4 hard crashes (maybe 15 hours), seemed to happen when I was driving high speeds or there was a crazy collision.

 

Best Buy has Mad Max for both consoles for $12.99. I finally picked that up at that steal of a price. They also have the regular Witcher 3 for $14.99; so if you don't have that a) what is wrong with you?! B) just buy it already if you don't.

whats up with all of that? are people itt enjoying it?

 

I like it, but very repetitive.

 

Does it feel as good to run, drive, shoot as it does in gta? How's the game world?

 

Shooting and combat is great. Stealth is decent too. The game world is cool to look at, but feels empty.

 

It has the same gameplay loop of open world crime shooters, everything on the gameplay front is mainly serviceable (i enjoy it; but i like 3rd person shooting/stealth) but the story and the game's presentation are absolutely mindblowing. It destroys the competition there.

And its buggy. Some bad reports, pretty good for me on ps4 with minimal crashes. I think the PC wasn't very well optimized at launch

 

Mafia III would have fared better had it been a closed sandbox kind of game or even a linear one, the story is top notch and is one of the better ones this year in my opinion. The open world, while cool, is really hollow and it starts to really stand out once you start looking for collectibles and such.

 

this was part of the problem with Mafia 2. gorgeous world that starts to show its emptiness and wire frames way too early. easily my favorite part of the game was how detailed and vibrant it was, but then you spend some time and notice a) you don't spend any time in most of these areas during the game despite the game basically being "drive here, shoot that, drive somewhere else" b) it feels very vacant. which is a damn shame because it was atmospheric and detailed as fuck! it seems like the team knew this, though, as there was no free roam mode, and given the amount of content that was cut and found in game files (including melee weapons) it wasn't how they'd hoped it would be either.

 

I had a good time last night in Mafia 3. Walked into a pretty detailed orgy so of course I found the most crowded area and set down some C4. Then I stood by the door and blew it up and watched an army of naked people in weird masks fight their way out the door, then run down the street in broad daylight stopping traffic.
