That's a good one day show, not sure it's worth it to be over two days.

They say this is only the first half but that’s a pretty underwhelming first half to announce.

maybe I’m in the minority but I don’t think this festival even got the coverage that fire fest or whatever it’s called did

People are grossly overestimating how interested the general public would be in a documentary about a failing active rock festival. That Fyre Festival doc worked because it had a main figurehead who was willing to speak and was easy to hate. The fans were also pretty easy to hate too because of how shallow a lot of them seemed. People were stranded on an island and paid thousands for ham sandwiches and musicians who never showed. You felt for them and rolled your eyes at them at the same time. There were obvious villains.

This scenario was more like death by a thousand cuts. I'm not trying to downplay how badly it must suck for the individuals impacted (crew and fans alike; especially those who had to go without showering or are now sick) but it's just not that interesting a narrative in the grand scheme of things.

EDIT: That said, a doc summing up this and Bamboozle as well as a few other fest disasters could be interesting? Focused on the greed that drives it all.

So it appears radius in Chicago doesn’t allow pyro for shows. Parkway drive was there and didn’t use pyro for a single song. Apparently they made some comments onstage about not letting them use it.
Don’t know why they just didn’t keep the original venue for the 2020 tour. Pretty sure they would have allowed it.

Makes sense because it’s indoors and not an arena or stadium. But also I just don’t know why ANYONE would want to play radius. It’s genuinely the worst venue I’ve ever been to

Manchester Orchestra posted about a mostly Florida tour with The Get Up Kids, including The Stuffing, but it's since been deleted.

It’s kinda funny to me that this is just a Florida tour (with one Louisiana date), but the poster art is clearly based off of Palm Springs
