Yeah a true staycation at home for me just means I’m doing work around the house. Which I like doing, but after fitting tasks into a 30 minute window at 8 AM every day, and the rest doing it while holding Jameson, it’s nice to have something to distract him while we actually get to taste our food for once instead of inhaling it lol. Added bonus of me not having to prep and cook it is nice too, as I’m the only one who cooks

I've always thought of Sours the same as IPAs

A really good sour is awesome, but anything less is undrinkable

There is no in-between

 

I got a 'spicy' sour on a whim few weeks ago and it was the worst shit ever

 

spicy beers suck shit and are gross

 

I grew up a preacher's kid no one taught me how it works !!!!!!!

 

also since Asheville has more breweries per capita than any other city in the US I can't wait to try a bunch of beers I know I will hate

I was under the impression sours just started getting popular? Haven’t been to a bar since Jameson was born! I like this better than any IPA, I will give it that. It’s growing on me with each sip.

I hate IPAs, I usually go for a stout or Porter, but this place had neither so I thought I would branch out! It’s a Victory Sour Monkey, not sure if that is a good or bad one!

Got to the airport to work my flight and scheduling called me to tell me it was cancelled, and I’m now staying here in Norfolk tonight so I am making the most of it!
