    ... or low fifties....

  2. I mean, seeing how I Miss You blew up on TikTok and became memefied in the last couple years, a similar acoustic-y song like One More Time felt like the perfect choice for a single.

Mark did specifically post an acoustic bass at one point, but that's about all I've seen documented. My thinking is just that acoustic guitars are so easy to record so it seems like a waste of time trying to recreate that artificially in the studio (but live it makes total sense).

I’m sobbing. Like actually sobbing watching the video and reading the words.

    They fucking did it.

Yet wouldn’t it make sense to set up an effect that they could then use live? No need to try to recreate or match a sound, but just use the exact same effect?

TBH, I went back and focused on just the guitar and I am now leaning on it being an actual acoustic.

Literally sitting in the parking lot of my therapy appointment listening on repeat. More than you know is both exactly what I needed to hear personally and far surpassed what I had I hoped blink would sound like in 2023. Feelings man, big time.

One More Time is both super personal but also easily relatable. No notes

I’m sitting on the beach with my best friend who I met during the Enema era listening to the 3 singles on repeat. One More Time made us both cry lol.

ONE MORE TIME is fine as a song but cool as a resolve to the breakup and reunion. Video is decent.

MORE THAN YOU KNOW rips and Travis is so gnarly on drums.

Looking forward to the album and seeing them play new tunes at WWWY. ;)

Multiple listens in on both and I gotta say, I'm really pleased. The fact that these two songs and Edging are all part of the same LP makes me super curious for what kinda overall vibe we're gonna get for this album. Can't fucking wait for October 20th.

MTYK is so damn good. I've listened to it like six times already.

Both songs are great and the video is really sweet.

I’m a bit underwhelmed with More Than You Know. Reminds me of a Neighborhoods track. Maybe it’s a grower, but it seemed forgettable.

Still got high hopes for the album though.

These two songs alone have buried Neighborhoods for me. Half-ass Tom never again

Is that a double pedal on the chorus?

I just booked a trip to see an old friend I haven't seen in years because of this fucking song.

I see what you mean. That would make sense if you are prioritizing matching the sound live after-the-fact.

I just mean, to simplify it, you can get by with a "fake" sounding acoustic guitar simulator/effects pedal in a live setting and it still sounds fine but on a studio track, it's going to still sound pretty noticeably artificial (especially when it's out in the open on its own like at the beginning of "One More Time"). Even good acoustic simulators still sound very digital to me because they don't have the same natural reverb or pick attack. Live, however, you probably won't tell much of a difference.

Apple Music kicked me straight from the two singles into WMAA and I just let the joy of the last 9 minutes wash over me like a cleansing flood.

I am doing the Rudy clap at my desk, headphones on, my wife in the other room thinks I’m having a stroke and maybe I am.

I love this band so much and I love sharing this with all of you.
