Also a Pink Lady was my go-to for a while. I tried a black apple recently that was pretty crazy, as well as one that had pink flesh that was very florally. Apples are crazy these days y'all.

 

What did the black apple taste like?

 

Iirc it was sweet and had a distinct flavor I couldn't really put my finger on kinda similar to the one that's supposed to taste like cinnamon. Definitely unique from your typical types.

I feel like I missed out on them but it could also just be a thing that was popularized by media and didn’t really happen so much. but idk because I never had a food fight

if you go apple picking at the orchards the first weekend that honeycrisps are ready you can get a whole bushel of them for the same price as all the other apples. because of that the trees get picked clean in basically one weekend

 

In college one time I sat with this preppy group. They were disgusted by the way I was eating my food, and called me a pig. Then I had them guess what I was next and put mashed potatoes in my mouth and then smashed my cheeks together. I said "I'm a zit. Get it?" Then all of the sudden the preppy guys chased after me in the cafeteria. That's when I shouted out "Food Fight!"
