What's been surprising to me (although I guess it makes sense) is that they even seem to be talking a lot about the first breakup more than I anticipated. They talked about it in those little clips and reference it in "One More Time". I'm having trouble finding it (maybe it was on Discord), but I thought Mark even mentioned at one point not being fully over Box Car Racer until very recently, which was honestly surprising when I heard that.

It's pretty clear that things were never repaired or resolved throughout the years even though they claimed otherwise and that they've just now reached a point of being able to genuinely mend their relationship. So not surprising to see that be a common theme in nearly every clip we've heard.

 

I remember their first reunion interview in Alt Press, it was like about how they all had their own managers and were figuring our how to talk to each other. Would probably be a really depressing read going back to it

 

Don't really care about the cover art. Just want the songs to rule.

 

My assumption with the digital artwork (at least with Apple Music, not sure whether Spotify has those too) is that it will be some sort of animation and they don't want to reveal it before the full album is released.

 

Just guessing the One More Time video is gonna be a lot of old footage like they showed in that short interview clip

Yeah, that's my guess too. Green screen video for OMT with old clips, and then we will get "proper" music videos for MTYK and DWM.

 

There was also another ad along the lines of "expect more drum covers because the new album comes out October 20" and it's in reference to some dude on Reddit that's been posting a blink drum cover every day until the new album comes out
