Cigar City bought by Oskar Blues. I had Jai Alai a year ago in Orlando and I loved it.

Three Floyds is probably my favorite brewery. All great beers. It's a treat when you can get zombie dust here on tap.

It definitely didn't disappoint. Glad I picked it up on a whim due to the packaging

The hibiscus gose was definitely one of the more interesting things ive had this year. such a weird mix of flavors. The sea salt really comes through, with the sour and hints of flower.

Old Chub Nitro is simultaneously delicious and dangerous (an 8% abv. beer that smooth is trouble if you're not paying attention)

Seconded. First goes down quick, second can go faster and then once you finish that third...

ever since one fateful shit faced night I can't do IPAs much anymore after drinking them weekly for the last several years. It ruined them for me. It's the pine notes that I directly connect back to that night that get me. I'm mostly about pilsners and belgian trippels now

Been working through a box of midwest goodies from Dan and It's a Rich Life is the first Belgian IPA that wowed me. The Belgian yeast wasn't overpowering.

Just drank a Sam Adams Nitro IPA and Nitro White Ale that I bought for $1.50 at the grocery store out of curiosity. I've come to the conclusion that every nitro beer (canned or bottled at least) tastes the same to me, regardless of style. It's only on the aftertaste that I can tell what it is.

    isn't draft nitro?

Draft is almost entirely CO2. Guinness and similar beers will be on nitro and a lot of craft breweries and good beer bars will have a couple nitro lines to put things on from time to time, but almost everything is CO2.

I can tell the difference on draft, but it all tastes the same to me up front when it's canned. I eventually know the difference, but it's not for me. (Other than Left Hand Milk Stout -- I have come to expect that in nitro).

A few weeks ago you had recommended me Anderson Valley's The Kimmie, the Yink, and the Holy Gose as a good introduction into sours. Finally got around to getting a 6er of it today (had to go to a store a bit farther away to find it), and I love it! I definitely want to try more sours. Give me more sour recs!

Lately all I want to drink is Shock Top's lemon shandy. It's closer to hard lemonade than beer but it reminds me of summer and tastes good so who cares. Trouble is you can drink like an entire sixer of them without realizing it.

Anderson Valley's Briney Melon Gose is delicious. I'm also a big fan of Victory's Kirsch Gose, which I believe is available again now or will be soon.

At the store I was at, they had Briney Melon and Blood Orange from Anderson Valley. Will try Briney Melon next time I go.
