Every week I open this thread to see someone complaint about field storming and being the fun police it never fails lol

I’m not sorry I think storming the field after winning a game you were supposed to win by three touchdowns but barely squeaked by in 2OT is lame.

storming the field is awesome. big fan. but typically you have to be the smaller team in the equation. and not do it two weeks in a row, lol.

 

Can't believe I fell asleep and missed this, just watched the highlights.

Coming back from being down 11 mid 4th quarter and winning in double OT against a in-state rival that cheap shotted (one of the worst i've seen in college ball) your star player and took him out. I think that warrants a field-storming, personally.

Just can’t believe how many people are turning themselves into a pretzel for college kids having dumb harmless fun

 

I mean their star quarterback said just last week how much he disliked the field storming despite acknowledging it was cool because he kept getting hit by people celebrating too hard and was worried about being injured but sure let the kids have fun celebrating an inconsequential game.

Do you think the average college student is a giant nerd like us in here analyzing CSU’s rank in the landscape of college football to determine whether this is an inconsequential game or not? Absolutely fucking not lol, they’re drunk or high out of their minds and just saw their team beat their hated in-state rival in wild fashion and crowd go brrr

This thread has become the Colorado/CSU game last night. I don’t take y’all seriously, but it’s a hell of a thing to sit back and watch.

 

I think you’re ignoring the context of the game too. The players had to be separated before kickoff, CSU knocked out their best player with a dirty ass cheap shot, it was chippy all game, and the game went on for a zillion hours in double OT. Of course they want to rush the field lol

 

Deion was supposed to bring us all together, not tear us apart

 

At the end of the day, whatever. It happened. I think it’s dumb, and I’m not alone. Colorado keeps winning and they can do whatever they want because that’s the name of the game because they get to shut up people like me. But I can think of no more perfect example of the chorus faux-outrage echo chamber than people being more bent out of shape at me for saying “it’s dumb” than over the usage of actual coded racist language like thug and honky last night.
