It sounds more Nine-ish to me than California-ish. The guitars especially. But yeah, my expectations are probably way too high now.

 

Part of me is hoping that when the countdown finishes on Thursday, it basically says "new album drops at midnight tonight".

The vinyl page says Spring/Summer 23 release, the 22nd is the last day of Summer. It'd be a pretty funny to leave fans waiting during Spring and Summer only to drop it the very last day of Summer.

... but that probably ain't happening, realistically.

 

Either that, or they'll just play the exact same set as the rest of the tour haha
