Bigger question is if Olivia does any sort of GA setup or it's all seats. I don't want to imagine the camping for a GA floor that people will do...

    Things have changed.

    Looks like there's a pit.

I think it’s safe to lock Olivia in for Coachella. The dates line up perfectly and GV hasn’t been using radius clauses as much post-Covid.

Second set up looks right, first seems just like a generic arena/stage setup

The thought of watching the Breeders with Olivia Rodrigo fans makes me wonder— what was the worst reception to an artist you like that you’ve ever witnessed because of the specific crowd they were playing to?

For me it’s gotta be Bright Eyes playing a late slot on the main stage at When We Were Young. They were probably the deciding factor that made me pull the trigger on those ridiculously expensive tickets. But clearly to most everyone else they were the sole blemish on the lineup.

I can remember no one singing or cheering, most people talking through the set, and a girl near me kept complaining. When I said they didn’t really play any of their hits she said “they have hits???” Afterwards I had a pretty friendly argument with her about whether they belong on an emo lineup and I said “they’re arguably the only actual emo band here!”

My Bloody Valentine playing before Tool at All Points West. MBV did their usual noise crescendo and Tool fans (who, ironically, always fancy themselves to be open-minded) were NOT having it.

I didn't go to this but I remember seeing on social media, a bunch of people complaining about Every Time I Die opening on FOB Mania Tour in 2018.

Also nothing nowhere on the Wage War tour this past Spring. Everybody around me didn't like him. Even when they tossed his setlist into the crowd, someone caught it and threw it back to the stage

I saw Phoebe Bridgers open for Sylvan Esso and basically the entire crowd who was expecting to dance was not feeling it at all. Several comments of "she seems good but like I want to dance" and then when she played Motion Sickness people were like finally and upbeat song. That's probably the funniest that I've seen.

Cornershop opening for Oasis in 1998 which was my first experience of watching a band just get boo'd mercilessly for their entire set

I will never forget how Run the Jewels scandalized the suburban moms who brought their kids to see Lorde.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

People were surprisingly not vibing with Yo La Tengo when they opened for Death Cab last year. I don’t think it helped that they closed with “Pass The Hatchet, I Think I’m Goodkind”

Phoenix at Made in America wayyyy back. They played the main stage right before Beyoncé and all the campers literally sat down on the ground and ignored the stage while Phoenix was on. They wouldn’t let other fans through and created a really awful atmosphere.

Definetly when Atreyu opened for Iron Maiden and Carcass back in 2009. The crowd booed them the whole set, throwing cups and even coins on stage. When they finished their set and throw picks and drumsticks, the crowd threw them back on stage

Just dropped $800 on two tickets for U2 af the Sphere in Vegas…officially the most I’ve ever spent on a single show.

What a wild time with multiple acts on tour right now charging $400/ticket for non-VIP experiences.

    This Sphere better be incredible.
