The Brand New subreddit (I don’t follow it; it popped up on my feed) has been abuzz lately over a post that suggested Jesse was performing a private show in TN. I don’t know if this indicates any sort of reunion or new project, but it’s something that could pop up in the future. Bringing it up now as this is a tour speculation thread, and we’ve seen some wild shit happen. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if Blue Ridge Rock Fest 2k24 tried to book Jesse at this rate…

 

Everyone knows how we all feel about the brand new thing but if they reunited, that would sell out in 2 seconds

not trying to endorse or minimize anything Jesse did. Feel however you want about BN. Just pointing out that selective outrage is selective and maybe we should bring the same energy we have when it comes to BN to cases that are either similar or far worse. It’s weird that they’re still seen as the poster boys for sexual misconduct in a scene where it’s a major and ongoing problem.

I feel like Guam will get a Is For Lovers Fest show before Oklahoma at this point.

I'm so surprised FSF never did a full Moon Is Down tour with Chris. Seemed like they were gearing up for it with the vinyl reissue and that one show at New Found Glory's mini-fest, then Dashboard commitments took over.

 

don't see anyone talking about this yet but it is getting announced this week, Madison Square Garden is on the lineup for shows

That mini fest was easy too because most of the OG lineup of further lives in Nashville. I think like one dude had to fly in. I have met most of them and they all have normal jobs outside of Chris who obviously has the cash cow of dashboard.

 

Any info on when that MSG date will be?

The seating map was rooooouuugh for this too. Still up on ticketmaster. Barely anything has sold from beyond the covered section which is at most 1/4 of the venue. Absolutely no one wants to see these kinds of bands in an amphitheater.

 

Poor Rise Against keeps getting fests cancelled on them lol
