The best Skiba song Tom wouldn’t be able to sing. Really needs to be a list where Mark does the heavy lifting. She’s Out Of Her Mind would probably work the best outside of the ones we’ve heard as Greg mentioned.

This is what I was referring to haha. It’s a good song made great by his vocals. He absolutely crushes that song.

 

Song always bummed me out with how I wish we could have gotten more songs like that. I like the Skiba era but so much seemed like he was just filling in, while that song was very much Matt being Matt and it's great.

i always figured Generational Divide would be up Tom's alley being a short and sweet punk song. would love to hear that live with Tom, though i'd take them doing any Nine song live now

 

I have almost no interest in ever hearing re-recordings of things, for some reason (sometimes remixes or acoustic versions are fun though). I guess because there are endless possibilities of new songs to write, I'd rather just hear that.

 

Part of me would be interested to hear re-recordings of Flyswatter or Buddha stuff, just to hear a more polished or modern take, but I'm sure I'm in the minority. I couldn't care less to hear any of the Matt stuff re-recorded with Tom though.

 

AbsoLUTELY no desire to hear them rerecord songs from when they were teenagers.

 

I've never ever said this before, but "21 Days" would be the only one I'd actually be stoked to hear re-recorded.

A re-record doesn’t mean the song doesn’t work - it just means I would like to hear it with his vocals or even what he might do with the guitar. I really like a lot of these songs just as they are! People can want things!
