I hate going to shows at the Hollywood Bowl because of this. Although I’m sucking it up for Death Cab and Postal Service next month.

I might just take the shuttle they have in Torrance. It’s otherwise a nightmare to leave

That whole Blue Ridge Rock thing really sucks both for the people who went to it and everyone involved. Especially since there were some appearances there that were specifically for that concert, like Trustcompany's first show in years and Finger Eleven's first U.S. date since 2016. What a fucking disaster.

 

So heard from a friend Blue ridge legit had nothing to do with the cancellation, the state shut them down after complaints of the over capacity, no water, lack of ems workers etc.

I almost went just to see TrustCompany, so glad I didn't. I will probably go if they do a headline show, even if I need to drive 9-10 hours.

Damn that’s a bummer. I can’t imagine a huge portion of the audience are locals. So postponing probably isn’t great news for a lot of people.

But a free TBS show is fun. Can’t complain about that.

 

Couple pop up things happening in the wake of Blue Ridge cancelling. Shinedown and Papa Roach did an acoustic pop up performance for campers. Pretty sure Senses Fail is doing a last minute show tomorrow in South Carolina with Holding Absence and Thousand Below.

 

In addition to this, Slipknot apparently paid for catering to be brought in to feed the crew after they saw what they were feeding their staff.

I'm actually surprised that they keep getting bands to agree to participate if this has been a recurring thing with them since the festival's inception. I know, money, but still...
