Cool, can he be arrested for war crimes?

Pre-Covid they were basically just a book club but they’ve been doing good work the last 1-2 years. Them and the DSA chapter here have been collaborating a lot more as well

How else would a plea deal work than to get less time by agreeing you are guilty? Or are you saying they shouldn't exist at all and everyone should go to trial?

 

It’s not about the idea of taking less time, it’s about the unfair power dynamics and how they result in extreme disparity and punishment for actually trying to go to trial. Your framing might be ok if prosecutors didn’t abuse their power.
