No, because I like good vocal melodies. Lyrics are just the last thing I pay attention to when I listen to music. I don’t even know all the lyrics to my favorite bands I’ve been listening to for 20+ years. Haha.

Bert went on this rant years ago about how he wanted to pioneer “grunge pop” or something as a spinoff of emo. I listened through the discography the other day and I do gotta say they do have the sound he described and I wish they would embrace that label more.

anyways that discog run through reminded me of how many incredible songs this band has written even if some if the albums quality aren’t consistent or cohesive. Great band they should take static dress on tour

 

New song feels like it'd fit right on Heartwork. Somewhere in the middle quality wise. Nothing special but not bad at all, grew on me after a couple listens

Ordered tickets for their tour with Sleeping with Sirens in October! Bringing my two younger siblings, who love the band. This will be their first concert!

 

Vinyl preorders (lol) delayed. Asked them to cancel my order. Album’s half baked, rollout’s been a disaster, and I’ll just buy the deluxe edition meant to swindle more money out of their fans in six months.

Just came to say, happy anniversary Artwork (few days late) and that Best of Me is one of their best songs. Rock!

 

I really loved Artwork. I often forget it exists just because it's not one of their well known albums, and it's obviously super old now.
