I wouldn’t call TOYPAJ flawless, Dude Ranch on the other hand..

No. But that’s okay. They’re all still great albums. Brilliant albums! Enema and TOYPAJ are two albums that made me start playing bass and guitar. But there are flaws. I also try not to use perfect too often as I have found it’s kind of lost all meaning when it’s user so often.

edit: I feel like this makes it sound like you said “perfect.” I just added on a random thought. Just wanted to clarify.

Dude Ranch would be the album of the four big ones that has an outright bad song on it. Degenerate sucks.

  5. It’s funny that they decided to record that song again for Dude Ranch. It was originally on one of their old demos before even Cheshire Cat. Feels so random to have brought “Degenerate” back.

Not sure if I knew that, but it makes sense. It really feels out of place on the album.

    Things have changed.

Greg not thinking other people can have differing, yet still valid, opinions. Classic Chorus.

I like both songs within the context of the album, but their lyrics are ROUGH.

I like Degenerate. Trying to keep up with the chorus is so fun. SMOKED A BONG KILLED A CAT HAD MY NUTS ATTACKED BY RATS

Personally Lemmings is my least fav on there but still better than Give me one good reason/shut up

Always do the right thing. Supporter

Dude Ranch is transcendent and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Even it’s problems and the justifiable critiques are generally part of the reason for its charm, a young punk band fucking around with a major label budget on genuinely brilliant songwriting. It’s special.

Neighborhoods had good ideas buried in there, it could have been a good album with Jerry Finn production and guidance.

I agree. Aside from a few lyrics that maybe haven’t aged super well (which I don’t put much weight behind given they were very much a product of the their time and all that), I think Enema is flawless. The production is perfect to me. Every song rules. Even the *probably* consensus least popular track (The Party Song) is super fun. I have a ton of nostalgia tied to that record that probably clouds my vision of it jut a little bit, but I’d say it’s one of the few pop punk records that’s perfect top to bottom.

Someone (@Jason Tate) tell me how to make one of those ranking things and I’ll make one with every single blink song.

Oh and someone (maybe @bradsonemanband) give me a list of every song that should be included that isn’t on one of the records
