We shall work together with the KMT and other political parties on Taiwan Island, along with organizations having the common political stance, to carry out works for cross-strait peace and returning to the correct path. Together we can achieve long-lasting prosperity and well-being for the revitalization of the Chinese race.”

At least they're outright stating the obvious. Any KMT working with the CCP should be charged with treason.

I’ve only done the weed once. Not sure how much, my friend said it was a good bit of an edible. I think my antidepressant may have made it so I could not feel the high. I didn’t feel anything. Was kind of disappointing after waiting so many years to try it.

  11. When the US invades Mexico people are going to be cheering war crimes against American soldiers like they do with Russians right. Y’all gonna keep the energy about it no? No more room to be offended when a gringo invader POW is on tape saying death to America at gunpoint right

Nah, still fuck Russia and fuck any invasion of Mexico.

Is this really the next “gotcha” that’s going to be pulled? lmao Russia are the fucking invaders. Fuck them. If they don’t like the way they are treated then they can get the fuck out of Ukraine.

There’s also an entire thread dedicated to the Russian invasion of sovereign Ukraine

it depends…is Mexico cozying up to China economically and making us feel threatened and closed in? If so, it’s not really the US’s fault for invading, what else could we do? Besides there’s probably some right wing extreme Mexican nationalist types fighting for their army, so who are the real bad guys here

  14. That's so true actually, we have such good reason to feel threatened by China given their history of destroying our country and ruining literally everyone in it's lives. God, remember the 90s, when all those Chinese businessmen were here running roughshod and making money off what used to be state property? That was so vile. We have to be careful of letting that happen again

  15. I assume by this logic you all support Russia's actions in Syria, to fight the Turkish and American proxies trying to overthrow the sovereign government. Iran too in Syria and Yemen. A third Intifada too, right? How about if Assad launches a drone attack at the white house? Big thumbs up?

90s? Sheeeit they’re even worse today. Stealing intellectual property, increasingly encroaching on our allies and trade partners territory in the South Pacific, spying, etc. Could you imagine if the country right on our southern border suddenly wanted closer economic relationships with them over us?? Fuck man, we’d have no choice BUT to invade. What else could we possibly do? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t support the invasion at all. It’s wrong and awful. But whew, what those Mexicans were doing with the Chinese. There was just no choice. They shouldn’t have provoked us.

  17. are you actually trying to say with a straight face that anything China has done to the US is comparable with what the US and the West did in Russia after the fall of the soviet union because if so you are braindead and i'm not sorry

Why tf some people get so upset over others being strongly against Russia in the Ukraine invasion is really damn bizarre.

I am simply pointing out that if China hadn’t been forming closer economic ties with a country on our border after decades of stealing our intellectual property and bullying our allies who definitely want closer ties with us and aren’t in anyway threatened by us and what we might do if they chose China over us, then we wouldn’t feel the need to invade Mexico!

  21. because you're all cheerleading a war where real people are dying, maximalist war goals that will extend it indefinitely for profit, the turning of Ukraine into an American weapons depot, and the general consolidation of American power globally. You don't think this is what you're cheerleading, but it is, no matter what else you are also cheerleading. and it upsets you when its pointed out.

The thing is, you're taking real world events and mapping them on 1 to 1 but it doesn't make sense because those actions don't predictably lead to a US invasion of Mexico. If the US had been balkanized, and Texas had a US-leaning head of state, and China overthrew it in favor of a China-leaning one, and then North Texas had ballot initiatives to join the rump US and a low-level conflict over them was going on for half a decade with proxy support from both sides, and then the rump US invaded Texas, yeah, I would probably say the same thing about China that I say about the US in real life: they made geopolitical decisions that predictably led to the invasion and could have been avoided.

“China overthrowing head of Texas in favor of a China leaning one” is doing a lot of work here(aka not even the intercept said the US overthrew Ukraine’s govt iirc). But either way, Texas is a literal part of the US. If China started doing that I’d say we’d be justified in taking action against literal China tbh. We’re talking about Mexico, not the US (Did you just accidentally admit you agree with Russia’s stance that Ukraine is actually part of Russia?)

But either way the US would certainly not be justified in invading Mexico for forming closer ties with China, regardless of any history. I’d even venture to say that we’d be more justified in invading Mexico over Trump’s reasons about drugs/cartels then we would be for doing so over Mexico’s friendship with China.

This has been pointed out multiple times in the Ukraine thread, but your insistence on framing the issue as people being "upset over others being against Russia" is a completely ludicrous misrepresentation, and reveals that you have no genuine interest in understanding anything at all.
