Definitely that album and maybe Dial in Sounds after.

I discovered them when a girl I was dating many moons ago suggested I check out the song Boys Lie and Grace Thinks I'm a Failure. So if you're into the old school emo, you can give Trying to Figure Each Other Out and Fallen Star Collection a go. The older stuff was more in the vein of old Jimmy Eat World - Static Prevails/Clarity era.

I think the brothers band you talked about is training for utopia. It looks like all the bands that they are pressing are playing the festival which I never understood why they didn’t just do that the whole time haha.

I wish they made a stand for Kallax that matches the wood option. I've looked into making my own but seems like its too much of a hassle.

 

Not vinyl related, but I think ou all would appreciate this. I spin records all day while I work from home and have been collecting since 2010, but today Im doing something different and its super exciting.
Im playing CDs! I havent used my CD player in years and I even upgraded it back in 2020, but used it twice.
Busting out my crates of CDs (800+) and having a blast from the past. I got my first cd and cd player in 1992 and collected cds until about 2007. The best surprises are the burnt mixes from like 2001 where I have no clue whats on them.

 

Trenches would be straight fire. Listened to The Tide Will... the other day for the first time in a while, and it's better than I remember.

 

I have one of those old CD changer boomboxes in the unfinished part of my basement by my workout area, so I end up working out to a ton of my CDs. I also have a newer player in my hi-fi setup, but I don't use it nearly as much as my turntable.
